Dr. Scheman founded the practice in 1970, opening offices in Smithtown and Commack. Dr. Scheman is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr Bleifeld joined the practice in 1975. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Wertlieb is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons. He joined the practice in 1979.

Dr. Vesey joined the practice in 1985. He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Weiss joined the practice in 1993. . He is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon, a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Tindel joined the practice in 1996. Dr. Tindel is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Iannotti joined the practice in 2001. Dr. Iannotti is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon and a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons.

Dr. Sterling joined the practice in 2000. He is board-certified interventional spine specialist and a Fellow of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

Dr. Dalosis joined our practice in 2006. He specializes in a sports medicine and trauma of the foot, and forefoot and rear foot reconstructive surgery.

Dr. Wilson has recently joined our practice. He is an Orthopedic Surgeon and has completed additional fellowship training in hand, wrist and microsurgery as well as shoulder and elbow surgery.
